Detailed description

Rancho Santa Fe Farms Golf Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Rancho Santa Fe, California.

The course was designed by Pete and Alice Dye. The Farms golf course was extensively remodeled in 2000 under the guidance of golf course architect John Fought.

The Farms Golf Club, a private, member-owned equity club, was created and built for golf enthusiasts. Nestled amidst gently rolling hills and hollows, several additional water features and newly created high rough landscaping add to the course’s beauty and the sense of peaceful seclusion that prevails on this championship course.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6850 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4847 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 574 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 14, a par-3 that plays to 177 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 3, a 530 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Rancho Santa Fe Farms Golf Club is # 15, a 381 yard par-4.

Rancho Santa Fe Farms Golf Club is a target course with water hazards coming into play on a number of holes. The medium-sized greens are fast and extremely well-manicured, and the fairways are narrow. The signature hole is #3, a 530-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot up a narrow fairway that slopes to the right, then an approach shot to a green with water protecting its right side.

We are looking for golf club to join and this ranks #1 with 2 more to go. People could not have been nicer and if all you want is golf and some food, this is it. Very beautiful and challenging Carol Lee

One of my all time favorite courses. Tour tournament ready greens were unbelievably fast and pin placements that challenged the best players in our foursome. This course is excellent!

Unique, fair, risk-reward layout with each hole memorarble and clearly distintiguished from the others; you can remember every distinct hole when you later think about the round.
