This course is in the worst condition I have ever seen. Are they waiting out winter to revive in the Spring? Honestly looks as though it will be closing permanently soon. Not saying that’s the plan, but that’s the feel when you’re out there. Most fairways are little more than pastures at this point.

I've been playing this course for ~15 years because it's about 1/2 mile from my house. Good course for twighlight round of golf, but NEVER worth paying full price on a weekend. 5.5+ Hours typically. The following holes have the worst layouts in all of the Sacramento area. #5, #7, #11, #13. All-in-all, conditions are usually great for a muni track, especially the greens, but don't drive too far out of your way to over pay on a weekend morning.

Course was in pretty good condition albeit the wholes from airation still not completely covered up. Putts still rolled pretty true. It was an NCGA tournament qualifier so course was not bad at all.

When we played at Woodcreek last week, they had just aerated the course, and did not offer a discounted green fee. I felt disappointed about that. I have played other courses that do offer a discount when they aerate. (even if it's a couple bucks, it would be more satisfying) Other than that, I enjoy playing Woodcreek. Although, on a couple of the holes, say 18 for example, way too many geese and their droppings. I like the wildlife, but it's pretty messy in some areas.

They over water the course causing soft or wet areas. The 5th hole is poorly laid out.

Found a great online, same day deal here...$18 w/cart after 1PM (45% savings). Good, consistent city operated course. They also offer an unadvertised back 9 & breakfast six days a week. While there are houses along some holes, the setback is sufficient.

One of my favorite munis. Despite having a taste for high scale golf courses, I always enjoy this one. Great restaurant on site. Good scoring course if you're on your game.
