Detailed description

San Bernardino Golf Club  is a Public 18 hole golf course located in San Bernardino, California.

The course first opened for play in 1969. The course was designed by Dan Brown.

Par for the course is 70. From the back tees the course plays to 5,795 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,226 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 2, a par-5 that plays to 455 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 14, a par-3 that plays to 125 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 5, a 429 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 10, a 334 yard par-4.

The course has numerous trees along the fairways, making accurate drives imperative. To add to the challenge, water comes into play on five holes. On the other hand, the course has less than the usual number of bunkers.

Always friendly staff willing to work walk-ins into the flow. Course is a challenge for skilled players yet is great for the new golfer

Good course for position players, no supper long holes is good for the shorter hitters.

Have played here for 15 years and course is in best shape it has ever been, several old large trees have died, which has made the course a stroke eaiser, For a shorter par 70 course you have lots of fun staying out of the tree lines....A hint, do not read more break into your putts 75%s of them are stright. (of course you won't belive it until you miss about 5 putts by half an inch).

Our Golf Club plays here regularly, though I do not, except for Tournament play with our club. I have never been disappointed in this course. It is challenging -- first time I played I had a 9 on hole #1. Whew! It is well maintained for the price range. This is a city course, I believe. The clubhouse, service staff, and the pro shop are above and beyond what one might expect. Love the course. Believe me, even with gas prices, I still drive about 50 miles to get there for the Tournament play.

It is called the Friendly Little Golf Course for a reason. Staff is excellent. The course condition isn't as good as it has been in the past.
