Course was not over seeded, so it is just now starting to look lusher. Change of layout has enhanced the original design. Lots of wineries on the way and back from Temecula. ;)

Course is under new ownership and just re-opened right before Labor Day. Clubhouse is completely remodeled and the grill just re-opened also. New owners are doing a lot of work to improve the course and facilities. The greens were in good shape and the views of the mountains are incredible. After being closed for roughly 4 years the trees are in good shape and I enjoyed the way the holes are shaped. The fairways do need some work but hopefully there is a lot of rain this winter and the owners are working really hard to overseed and get them in top-notch playing shape by the Spring. Owners are also adding a ton of concrete cart paths.

Course is in terrable shape. Appears they have really cut back on maintenance. If you are in the area drive a little farther and play Borrego Springs, much much better course.
