The 18-hole executive course is across the street and offers enough variety to make things fun. Located just four miles from downtown Atlanta, The Charlie Yates Golf Course at East Lake is a Par 58, mid-length course with Bermuda fairways and Bentgrass greens. The course plays to a maximum distance of 3,480 yards. The course rating is 56.2, and the slope rating is 109.
Charlie Yates Golf Course first opened for play in 1998. Rees Jones designed the course.
The Yates Course offers a mix of challenging Par 3's and 4's with remarkable views of the downtown Atlanta skyline.

Yates golf course is a very nice executive layout and is consistently very well maintained.
The front nine is the more difficult nine. The three par 4-s on the front nine require straight, long drives to have a makable greens in regulation. Two of the par 3-s on the front are over 200 yards.
The greens are among the truest in Atlanta. This course will surprise you. It is very good. Price was $35 including the cart.
