Another former private golf course which has gone public. High quality with country club features still in place. There are 27 holes of golf available here. It is expensive, but popular. Make reservations in advance.

Enjoyed playing the course - we were on South and East. Paid a bit more on Memorial Day. Good test - calls for all the shots.

Since I live in Naperville, I can play those courses for less than half of the cost of playing Arrowhead. Yet, I like to play it once or twice a year for variety. Greens fees are expensive for the course.

I thought it was a good enough layout but I feel there are better courses for the same or lower price closer to where I live.

The course is difficult for the average golfer. Trees and water come into play on almost every hole. Pin placement on weekends is also more difficult. If you want to be challenged this is the course.

I live near Arrowhead and play it a few times each year. Course is usually in great condition and always challenging. The new clubhouse is also very nice. I just wish they kept their rates lower so I could play it more often. $65 is on the steep side but worth playing once or twice a year. Pace of play is hit or miss too, but that can also be said for most Chicagoland courses.

New course superintendent has taken a good layout and made the course superb and a great conditioned course. It gets a lot of play but stays in great condition. Beautiful new clubhouse/restaurant/bar beats many fine country clubs.
