Clay Myers II (Jackson State University 12’) is a native of Memphis, TN. Clay began golf at a young age in the Mid-South Junior Golf Program which would later become The First Tee of Memphis. He grew up with two loves finding success on the golf course but also in music as a member of the school band where he played the tuba and received All-State recognition. Ultimately he chose golf and accepted a full golf scholarship to Jackson State University. At JSU he was a 3 time tournament winner, 4-time SWAC champion, and SWAC Player of the Year graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. After college he played professionally for over 6 years on the Florida golf tours, Adams, and Advocates Tour. His career highlight was teeing it up at the PGA Tour’s Fed-Ex St. Jude Classic in his hometown of Memphis. Since, Clay has become quite the commodity appearing on TV Shows such as The Big Break- Palm Beaches, FL and Holey Money produced by Steph Curry. He’s also been featured in national campaigns for Titleist and Dick’s Sporting Goods. In 2016 he moved to Dallas, TX to begin his journey on becoming a PGA member. Clay has served as Assistant Golf Professional at Cedar Crest Golf Course, Irving Golf Club, and Head Golf Professional at The Clubs of Prestonwood in Plano, TX. His career goal is to be the low club professional in the PGA Championship.
