Christian is a PGA Professional and member of the Tennessee Section of the PGA of America. The men and women of the PGA are recognized as experts in the game and business of golf and are dedicated to the enjoyment of the game. Currently Christian is the Director of Instruction at Holston Hills Country Club in Knoxville, TN.
Christian has a background in a blend of a dozen sports and locations culminated in a dedication to competition. Before golf, he played lacrosse at a high level and was introduced to the coaching side after an accident left him unable to play any longer. He naturally made the transition to golf, having learned the game from his Father at a young age.
Collegiately, he attended the Mississippi State PGA management program where he prioritized understanding the fundamentals of the golf swing and began honing his teaching skills. Competitively he had success at Mississippi State by winning multiple events as well as earning the Rod Perry Player of the Semester Award; Christian understands what it takes perform competitively and is the perfect coach if you are ready to elevate your game.
When not teaching or playing golf, you can find Christian hiking any of the trails in East Tennessee with his wife, Whitney, and two rescue dogs.
A percentage of proceeds from each lesson is shared with organizations helping women fight the same vicious disease that claims more than 40,000 lives in the US annually, including Christina Monroe, Christians Mother, in Spring of 2023.
